A Case Study on Play Therapy for a Child Who Had Nonintervention with Bringing up and Ratardness of Linguistic Development

Abstract

|
A play therapy was administrated for a four-years boy who had difficulty in adjustment to group study because of nonintervention with bringing up and retardness of linguistic development.
It was the case of play therapy that was consisted for the 92 sessions through one year, At the beginning of the therapy, it approached structured therapy on behalf of leading beginning development. At the middle of the therapy, as the emotion of child grew, the study approached nondirective therapy that child played spontaneously with let child guide by himself.
The purpose of this study was to illustrate adaptive behavior by leading personal interaction through promoting communication development and releasing the tense feeling.
The result showed that; (a) the child was improved self-esteem, adaptive behavior; (b) the child had arranged younger class because of difficulty of adjustment to life-age class. The effective result was to set in his chronological age finally in last period.
